In the middle of the contest you find out that your computers shows the wrong date and time and all of the hundreds of contacts are now logged with an incorrect time stamp. My friend Roberto, IV3IYH, just got into this trap when he traveled the Philipine islands a couple of weeks ago.

What to do?

CT has an external utility called CT_TIME.EXE which allows you to apply a fixed amount of minutes (positive or negative) to a CT BIN file. This way you can overcome minutes, hours, days even years.

I\'d propose a similar feature for Win-Test too. It could reside in the Edit menu (Edit->Time Travel) and allow the user to shift all of the logged QSOs by a certain amount of time. It would be very elegant to allow specifying the offset in minutes or hours or days etc. Offset could be forward (positive) or backward (negative).

An add-on could be that the time shift could be limited to QSO number 1 thru n. This would be helpful for people who decided - in the middle of the contest - so set their clock to the correct value and so they have part of the log with correct time, the rest with an offset.
