If the OmniRig connection supports a pmFreqB command to set the frequency of the Sub VFO, then there should be no reason for this useful feature to be disabled. The sample OmniRig client program is able to determine if setting VFO B frequency is available or not. Can Win-Test do the same, and only disable the option when necessary? I was able to create a new OmniRig file for newer Icom radios that supported the pmFreqB commands, and works fine with the sample OmniRig Client, but, like the K3.INI file, Win-Test seems to block ALL OmniRig clients from using this feature, which doesn't seem fair. |
