WT 4.6 (but I think this is a very old bug that has been around for along time).

  1. Create a new ARRL Sweepstakes log
  2. In the logging window, type a callsign but no other keys
  3. Press the \"less than\" key [<] twice to move cursor to QSO number received field
  4. Type 22 [spacebar]
  5. BUG! The cursor doesn\'t move to the next field.

The spacebar key should always jump to the next field.

The spacebar key should always jump to the next field.

Ah ! The reason of this bug is because YOU wanted the cursor to jump to the QSO number received field the first time when it was in the callsign field, instead of jumping to \"the next field\", as in other contests. This proves that exceptions to the rules are ALWAYS bad and should have been ignored.

No, I just want it work the same way as CT in the ARRL Sweepstakes.

IF the cursor is in the CALLSIGN column, then the spacebar should jump to the QSO number field, but only the first time it is pressed on any QSO (especially after F11). After that, it should work as it does today.

If you use the spacebar to jump from callsign to number received, it works fine.

If you use the arrow keys to move to the QSO number received field, it does not.

Pressing the arrow keys should NOT affect the behavior of the spacebar at all. The only thing that matters is the position of the cursor.

If the cursor is in the QSO number received column, the spacebar should always jump to the next field.

This is the exception... and a side-effect of this exotic behavior created the bug. It\'s fixed.
