Using WT 3.19.0-dev (WT_DEV):

  1. Ensure VHF.DTB, HF.DTB and MASTER.SCP are in the Win-Test directory, and that no other .SCP .DTA or .DTB files exist there.
  2. Start wt_dev and select Contest: \"Stew Perry Top Band Distance Challenge\".
  3. From either the \"Check partial result\" or \"N+1\" window, right click and select \"Used files list\".
  4. Bug: Win-Test is using VHF.DTB for an HF contest
  5. In another window, copy MASTER.SCP to DEFAULT.SCP
  7. Bug: Win-Test still uses VHF.DTB
  8. In another window, rename VHF.DTB VHF.DTB.BAK
  10. Bug: Win-Test complains \"Error opening file C:\\Program Files\\Win-Test\\VHF.DTB - Operation canceled!\"
  11. Bug: Win-Test does NOT use HF.DTB or DEFAULT.SCP or MASTER.SCP after you press [OK].
  12. In another window, rename VHF.DTB.BAK to VHF.DTB, then copy DEFAULT.SCP to STEW_PERRY.SCP
  14. Win-Test now uses STEW_PERRY.SCP instead of DEFAULT.SCP - is this a bug?

According to

\"If a file named DEFAULT.SCP or DEFAULT.DTA is in the WT directory, it will be used as default file for partial and N+1 checks instead of contest-specific default file.\"

I think maybe the documentation is confusing and it should say:

\"If a contest-specific file cannot be found in the WT directory, WT will be use a file named DEFAULT.SCP or DEFAULT.DTA, if present.\" (though Win-Test does not seem to do this for Stew Perry).

Please confirm how it is supposed to work, and I will update the Wiki.
